Momentum for Mitch
On September 7th, 2011 Mitchell was diagnosed with Philadelphia Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia ( Ph+ALL). His journey will be a very long one. His treatment plan is 2 1/2 years of chemo plus a new drug to target the Philadelphia chromosome called Dasatinib. For most of the first year, he will have to be hospitalized for chemo treatments and then the schedule will get a bit easier.
